I'm trying to model a stochastic process. I have created a dll using visual C++. This dll uses needs a random number generator. I have tried using the one rand() function of C++, seeding it off of the system clock. However, this has not worked. Every run leaves me with the same state. Does anyone know have an idea as to what I might try next.
